From the trees of the genus Juglans (Family Juglandaceae), particularly the Persian or English, walnuts have been a beloved snack and topping for centuries. Our Walnuts are straight from our Partner Manufacturers farms in Fars Province, Iran. In Fars, the soil and weather conditions are just perfect for the best Walnuts across Iran. Although there are many grades and different varieties of walnuts based on shape after shelling , colour, fat content, and with/without shells, we supply the Premium Quality Persian kernel (without shell) variety at a mix of the shapes. This mix includes whole, halved, and quartered Walnut kernels.
Walnuts are wet and shelled naturally upon harvest. For commercial production, they are taken to a huller (a machine that peels the outer layer or husk of the fruit). Then they are dried in a drying room so the quality is maintained and the moisture content is just right. Then the Walnuts have their shells cracked and removed and are sorted by their size.
