Mazafatti Dates

Mazafatti dates are dark, soft, fleshy, sweet and succulent. They are a medium sized date,
typically around 2.5-4.5cm, and have a relatively high moisture content of 32-35%. They are best consumed as fresh dates and are especially popular in Middle Eastern countries.

Kabkab Dates

Kabkab dates are large, soft, sweet and have a velvety texture along with delicious taste. They are commonly used for industrial purposes. The pitted variety is black in colour and the unpitted is brown. The harvest time of these dates is in October and their moisture is under 18%.

Sayer/Estameran Dates

Sayer Date is also Known as Estameran Dates. The Sayer dates are semi dried and have a high level of sugar, redundant juice, and easy
separation of the core date (seed). These dates are dark orange-brown, of medium size, soft and syrupy. The Harvest Time is October. These dates used as pitted or unpitted for direct
consumption and/or for industrial purposes.

Zahedi Dates

Zahedi dates are thick, small, oval dates, about 3.5cm in size. They are hard, shiny and dried up, sometimes their skins sticks to
the flesh and sometimes, based on weather (heat, humidity), the fruit skin will separate
from the fleshy part. They range from yellow to light brown in colour depending on
ripeness. Due to their low moisture content,
they are considered a dried fruit. Zahedi dates are meaty, delicious and the preferred date variety by those who do not like highly sweet flavours due to their low sugar level

Piarom Dates (Maryami Dates, Chocolate dates)

The Piarom dates are one of the best tasting dates in the world, which only grows in the Hormozgan Province, Iran and are considered to be one of the most expensive kinds of dates. They are dark brown, oblong/round sized, and perfect for a healthy snack. These dates are semi-dry with a moisture around 15% and a unique taste. The skin is thin too, allowing for a satisfying eating experience. The Piarom date has a variety of sugar acceptable for diabetics, so it will not disturb sugar levels. Used in bread industry, cereals, cookies, and bakeries.
